One of my classmates is pissed with me?

I keep having questions for my professor. and every time i ask the professor out of class she tells me to ask questions in class. Iam in astronomy and I ask about rouge planets ( planets without an orbit) and this jerk interupts me asking the professor and says iam talking about sci fi and to keep it to myself.this is what hammers me on tests. the "question police" how can i get him out of the class. he has to go or stop.

One of my classmates is pissed with me?
Ignore that person. If the teacher thinks the question is inappropriate to the subject they will tell you.

When you are in pursut of knowledge no question is stupid or wrong.

The reason the teacher tells you to ask your question in class is because someone may have the same question as you and if they ony have to answer the question once they are much happier.

I have personally delt with this particular brand of butthead, ask as many questions as you can. If it pisses them off, tough. At least you are getting the knowledge you want!
Reply:Ignore the guy. Just remember that he doesn't have any authority over you. If you have a question, ask it, and if he interrupts, interrupt him right back. Most likely everyone else in class is just as sick of him as you are.
Reply:the planets are "rogue" not "rouge". the professor should be telling the heckler to stop interrupting and then he could answer your questions and be done with it on time.

this guy should be failing out soon if he thinks rogue planets are sci-fi. what, if anything besides heckling, is he doing in an astronomy class?
Reply:BTW its rogue, not rouge. I believe rouge is a type of makeup
Reply:what does your proff say? I would stay after class and ask the questions then if the prof says to ask in class tell them why u do not want to and the prof should take care of it!
Reply:Sometimes I find it more gratifying to seek out all info on a subject I am curious about on my own. That way you can base your own theory on your own research rather than have some one who is overpaid lead you into their own. And as far as the jerk goes, just patiently wait for him to blurt out something idiotic and then berate him for wasting all of your precious time. Best of luck.
Reply:we used to have someone like you at uni, always asking questions, fortunately that person got thrown out. You should stop bugging people with inane questions.

Hope this helps.
Reply:I have a girl in my class who is the same. She hates when others aren't understanding and ask questions, but when she has a question, she asks too. The way I look at it is I pay for that class to learn something, I'm going to get what I paid for. If I'm disrupting the class, the instructor will let me know, though mine always says, this is the time to ask questions. Don't let a classmate keep you from learning and passing. Everyone learns at their own pace and in their own way. You just worry about you and ignore that guy.
