Why do my classmates expect me to know everything?

We are reading a book about Middle East. If they have any question about Middle East area they always ask ME. I am from India not from Middle East!!!!

You know what jaan, you are trust worthy, and your classmates trust you more than themselves regarding their studies that is why they ask u all stuff. Don't worry always help them if u know the answer ans say them no or sorry if u don't. This is the way of helping someone out. Ya, ofcourse don't get irretated n if you feel like, then just move away to someother place.

Reply:Well, I doubt your classmates expect you to know everything. I think it's quite limited to earthly matters concerning the Middle East. Also, India is closer than the Middle East than the US, so it's quite logical they ask you for informations concerning that part of Asia. I think you answered your question yourself.





And US education tends to include little world geography indeed. I'd agree that it couldn't hurt to broaden their view. But I hardly see how that would solve your problem.
Reply:Obviously your classmates have not been doing their Geography homework. They are clueless. Just tell them to look at a map.
Reply:trust me dude, i have the same problem, only with subjects like math and science. it all depends on how good you are in class. thats why wveryone comes to me. If you don't know the answer, just tell 'em that.
