I'm a real S.O.B.........I don't think 18 people really want to reunite. is this just a scam for them to sell me a membership?
Do you get email from Classmates.com saying 18 searches were made for you?
No... maybe people aren't searching for me.
But they send me all kinds of other irritating, unsolicited emails about people in my class that have added, or something.
Reply:yes all the time. Most of the classmates you went to school with dont give a rat's azz about contacting you, and do we really care what they are doing?
Reply:called fishing to draw you in
Reply:Yes and reunion.com also then when i fell for it and paid to sign up I found out that is was not anyone i knew. I was people way out of my age group, from another state looking for someone with the same name I have.
Reply:yes, I think so...I've had that to but would never pay to see it because they are almost out of business.
Reply:No, I don't get that many searches because my name is not that common. Mine always says like 2. It's counting searches for anyone with the same name as you. Classmates.com sucks. It's a huge ripoff. Yeah, they are just trying to con you into a membership. Everyone can do the same thing on Myspace so they're losing business and getting desperate.
Reply:It's a scam. Heck, I made up a totally ficticious name for my graduating class at my high school and I got "10 searches for you this week...." And then they want you to join to see who was searching for you.
Reply:All the time. I doubt they have actually searched for anyone. It is just a scam to get you to buy the gold membership
