I keep seeing elementary school classmates enjoying Career success now, but i'm unemployed?

im 27, and i'm unemployed. i can't seem to find a job that i can do because i have health problems and also social problems: i'm still shy, i'm still not good at speaking( cause my social skills are 0 and have never had anyone to speak to, so how can i ever be good).

Seems if you were a talkative kid then as an adult you are successful. My clasmmates were talkative kids, and now I see them around town with great jobs. oh gosh i feel like a failure.

I was always a descent student, i even graduated and everything from university but what am i? nothing. i'm like a nobody. just a failure. Is there a way i can climb up, even if i don't have the social skills or vocabulary as the talkative people? i would do a simple office job.. but i can't seem to convince any Interviewers that i'm good for the job.

maybe your mind is just different.. which is basically thinking outside of the box? there are people who can help you find jobs (its their job). quiet people do get somewhere in life. whatever major u graduated with you should find something in that area or try career tests just to see what you would be good in.
Reply:It sounds to me like you are suffering from depression. You need to see someone to figure out what the underlying problems are. Your negativity is shining through in the interviews. People usually don't want to work with people that are negative. Try to talk to someone so that you can work through your issues. Good luck.
Reply:Surely, you must be good at something. Many philosophers were introverts. There are many careers where your personality would fit to a tee. Don't bother about what you're NOT good at. Identify what you're good at. Try to create a niche in it which people want, and there's short supply. If you need help, contact me; I'll try to help you. (I'm not a Consultant and I won't charge you, don't worry!)
