They are always asking me if we are boyfriends. But no it's not. We're just best friends. Why do people always think that when two men are close to each other they have an intimate relationship? I mean as a couple.

mmm.. dont listen to such people ...they just feel jelous of ur close friendship... they r silly people who only want to open a subject and talk bout it all the time...so dont lsn to them and keep on ur friendship...but maybe just bcoz u dont have a gf thats y they say that i donno give more details...but still it doesnt matter and dont lsn to such low people !
Reply:I think society is gearing toward saying that guys can't have close relationships with other guys unless they are a "couple." With the big push toward "couple" in recent years, that's all it takes for some immature kids to look for something to "pick on." If not that, they'll find something else. Ride it out and ignore them. Having a good best friendship is healthy and there are many guys who go through life never knowing that. Hold onto that as long as you can ... it may be a lifetime friendship that with weather marraige, parenting, grandparenting, career, and old age stuff. Ignore the jealous, immature ones who are trying to make something of it that it's not.
Reply:well hunny if u and this friend of urs are always hanging out and spending time and not really interacting with others and pulled away from others in the social world then yeah ppl are gonna start wondering. if and this friend are too close then yeah rumors are gonna start!
but ur the one with the friend not them and u know the truth so what difference does it make what they think!
